Féile na Gréine: The Solstice Arts Festival, after a one-year break, will be
shining again in 2012 from Thursday 21st to Saturday 23rd June.

Once again you can enjoy theatre, music, literature, visual art, crafts, children’s events, workshops and much more, indoors and outdoors in one of Ireland’s most stunning coastal settings. The festival will be based around Tech Amergin in Waterville on the beautiful Ring of Kerry. One of the headline attractions will be Liz Lochhead, Scotland’s national poet, playwright and creative livewire. From Scotland we will be also welcoming back poet Aonghas Mac Neacail celebrating his seventieth birthday this year and the great piper Allan Mac Donald as well as Braveheart’s mother-in-law! Pipe and harp music at prehistoric solar sites, an exhibition by Kerry’s best loved artist, Pauline Bewick, readings, The Boys of the Lough in concert, a premier performance of a new play by dynamic playwright, Donal O’Kelly and lots more.
